Question: Why would a parent or caregiver hire an educational advocate?

Answer:

My hope is that, as an advocate, I'm going to give voice to the voiceless. I'm going to give words to the parents. I'm going to give words to those who don't know what else to say. Oftentimes caregivers get to the point of frustration, and they know something's not right. They just need help navigating the system to make it right for their child. Oftentimes they don't want to make enemies with or fight with the very people who give daily care to the most special people in their lives, so they need someone else to step in.
