New to the IEP Process??

I hear first hand the frustration parents feel in IEP meetings or before the IEP meeting. Whether they walk out crying, break down and cry, or feel strong emotion of any kind…I get it. It’s hard to discern as parents, what is emotional parenting, the challenge and the joy of parenting a child with a disability, and what is the school trying to cut corners, not telling the full story, or hurrying you through to get to the next meeting. Parents are often left with unanswered questions.

That is why Christy Leatherby and myself are partnering together to provide a Course for parents to learn about the law, the process and the system of special education eligibility.

We are hoping parents will join us as we dissect the ins and outs of special education. Our hope is that we will give you tools that you can bring to a team and empower change.
